COVID-19 Information

Safety Precautions

Dear Clients,

We hope everyone is remaining safe and healthy during these stressful times. We wanted you to know WE ARE OPEN for your pet's needs. However, we will be instituting a little change in our hours. Starting Monday, June 9th, our hours will be Monday-Friday 8:30am-6:00pm. Saturday will remain the same for now 9:00am-4:00pm. Boarding services are temporarily unavailable, until further notice.

As you may know, we have put into place new protocols to ensure the safety of yourself, our staff, and of course, the medical care of your pets. I have listed them again below.

  1. If your appointment is to see the doctor, please try and contact us from your car when you arrive. We will benches available outside our lobby to ensure comfort for you and your pet. We will gather all necessary information and perform all of our examinations of your pets in our treatment area. We respectfully ask everyone adhere to the six feet social distancing guidelines.
  2. For technician appointments only (injections, fluids, etc.), again, please call us from your car when you arrive. We will be happy to meet you at the door and take your pet directly to the treatment area.
  3. Please make ESSENTIAL appointments only. If there is a concern and your pet needs to be seen, we will absolutely see your pet. If your appointment is NON-ESSENTIAL (wellness, vaccines, nail trims, etc.), we will encourage a future appointment. If you are unsure, PLEASE CALL. We will troubleshoot as much as we can over the phone and make the appointment if necessary.
  4. We ask that only ONE person attend the appointment. And please, do not bring children to the appointments.
  5. Refills of food and medications - please call ahead. We can have everything ready for you and take payment over the phone.
  6. Payments for appointments - we will encourage payment over the phone. You can simply contact us from your car or home
  7. THE PHONE - We are here for you and our doctors are here for you. We may opt to use the phone as our main form of contact when going over treatment plans and discharge instructions.
  8. Please use our hand sanitizer. We ourselves have instituted stricter hand-washing and disinfecting protocols.

We truly appreciate everyone's cooperation with our new protocols. We want to ensure we are providing the best medical care to your pets, while encouraging a safe and comfortable atmosphere for you and our staff. As always, we value all of you, and together, we will get through these changing times.

All the best,

David Slaski, Practice Manager
